An intimate evening with George Kane, Tim Clarke, and Wayne Moose highlights downtown renewal through music, art, and community.
Three of Buffalo’s very best are coming together for an evening that perfectly captures the spirit of Art Meets Jazz—where creativity and community meet in the heart of downtown.
Art Meets Jazz – Wednesday, March 18, 6 pm to 8:30 pm
Guitarist George Kane and trumpeter Tim Clarke have long stood at the top of Buffalo’s jazz landscape. Year after year, they are recognized among the favorites in the JazzBuffalo Poll, representing the very best of our city’s artistry. Individually, they are masterful musicians. Together, they create a musical conversation that is lyrical, swinging, and deeply engaging—marked by nuance, trust, and spontaneous interplay.

They’ll be joined by bassist Wayne Moose, one of Buffalo’s most respected and in-demand jazz bassists. His steady, melodic foundation brings depth and warmth to every performance—making this trio a gathering of seasoned artistry at its finest.
For this special evening, Kane, Clarke, and Moose will explore classic jazz repertoire and beloved standards, allowing melody and storytelling to take center stage. This is jazz at its most intimate—where every note carries intention and every phrase unfolds naturally in the moment.
The setting makes it even more meaningful.
Hosted within the inspiring surroundings of the Hunt Art Gallery and the renewed Beebe’s on the Square within the revitalized Brisbane Building, this is an experience you simply can’t replicate elsewhere. Beebe’s has reemerged with a fresh new menu and welcoming table service, adding comfort and hospitality to an already distinctive artistic atmosphere. It’s another important step in the continued vibrancy of our downtown core—where food, art, and music converge to create something truly special.

Art Meets Jazz is more than a concert series. It is part of a broader movement—bringing life, culture, and shared experience back to our city center. Evenings like this remind us how powerful intimate performances can be in activating spaces and strengthening community bonds.
