Building A Jazz Story Unique to Buffalo
There’s a difference between a one-night success and sustained momentum.
At JazzBuffalo, we’ve made a conscious commitment to the latter.
What you’re seeing unfold in our downtown and city core isn’t a series of isolated events. It’s a collection of consistent initiatives — thoughtfully curated, intentionally placed, and designed to build real vibrancy over time. From Jazz at Kleinhans to Art Meets Jazz, from community gatherings to special downtown collaborations such as The Jazz Lounge, each effort is part of a larger rhythm.
We believe that creating a welcoming and vibrant city core doesn’t happen through one-offs. It happens when people can count on something. When they know there will be music. When they know there will be a community. When they know there will be a place to gather.
That’s what we are building.
We have initiatives underway right now — and more to come. Each one is designed not just to present great jazz, but to contribute to a downtown experience that feels inviting.
This is about more than concerts. It’s about arts and culture. It’s about momentum. It’s about creating spaces where you — our valued community — feel welcome, inspired, and proud to be part of what’s happening in Buffalo.
Thank you for being part of this ongoing Jazz Story unique to Buffalo.
We’re just getting started.
With gratitude,
Tony Zambito
