Responding to Shared Experiences
This week, we are especially encouraged by the growing response from the community to efforts focused on bringing more life, activity, and accessibility to downtown Buffalo through music, arts, and shared cultural experiences.
Over the past several weeks, we’ve witnessed people gathering in meaningful ways — from sold-out Jazz Lounges in the historic Rendezvous Room, to a Cinco de Mayo celebration filled with music and dancing at Beebe’s on the Square, to the continued enthusiasm surrounding Jazz at Kleinhans and our growing commitment to presenting internationally acclaimed artistry in Buffalo.
What is becoming increasingly clear is that people are eager to reconnect with downtown. They want memorable experiences, vibrant public spaces, and opportunities to gather around music, culture, and community. We are proud to be part of that momentum.
This summer, you’ll see even more in this direction. From outdoor concerts on Ellicott Street and rooftop gatherings to the Buffalo Jazz Festival and expanded collaborations with downtown partners, JazzBuffalo and ArtsBuffalo remain committed to helping create a more active, welcoming, and culturally vibrant downtown experience.
Together, we are building something special for Buffalo.
