Featuring internationally acclaimed artists Carmen Bradford, Champian Fulton, and Vanessa Perea in a festive celebration of swing, jazz vocals, holiday classics, and community gathering through music.
There is something timeless and joyful about hearing the Great American Songbook during the holiday season.
This December, Jazz at Kleinhans invites audiences to experience Swinging in the Holidays—a festive and spirited celebration featuring internationally acclaimed jazz artists Carmen Bradford, Champian Fulton, and Vanessa Perea.
Few artists embody the spirit of swinging jazz vocals more than Carmen Bradford. A Grammy Award nominee and longtime vocalist with the Count Basie Orchestra, Bradford brings warmth, sophistication, blues, swing, and deep jazz tradition to every performance. Her voice carries the timeless spirit of jazz holiday celebrations that audiences have cherished for generations.
Joining her is the remarkable Champian Fulton—internationally celebrated pianist and vocalist whose artistry recalls the elegance, wit, and swing of the classic jazz era while bringing a fresh contemporary energy uniquely her own. Fulton has become one of today’s leading interpreters of the Great American Songbook, captivating audiences throughout the world with dazzling piano work and heartfelt vocals.
Together with rising jazz vocalist Vanessa Perea, Swinging in the Holidays promises a memorable afternoon filled with swinging rhythms, holiday favorites, timeless standards, and the joyful spirit that only live jazz can bring during the holiday season.
