JazzBuffalo: The Enthusiastic Sounds of Revival

A Sold-Out Jazz Lounge Sets the Tone for Summer

There are moments when you can feel a community coming together around something special. The upcoming sold-out Jazz Lounge at The Statler is one of those moments.

As guests filled the room, shared conversations, and enjoyed themselves at the several sold-out Jazz Lounge events of exceptional jazz, it became clear that something larger was taking place. Jazz is once again serving as a catalyst for community, vibrancy, and renewed energy in Downtown Buffalo.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, supported, and helped create such a memorable number of Jazz Lounge occasions. Your enthusiasm and commitment continue to inspire all of us at JazzBuffalo. Together with our partners, artists, venues, sponsors, and volunteers, you are helping to demonstrate the important role that arts and culture can play in the ongoing revitalization of Downtown Buffalo.

The excitement does not stop there.

As we look ahead, the Summer of Jazz is poised to deliver an extraordinary season. Four special Sundays on Ellicott Street will transform Downtown Buffalo into a gathering place filled with music, community, and celebration. The Lewiston Jazz Festival returns with outstanding artists including Paul Marinaro, Gabrielle Stravelli, and Bria Skonberg. The Buffalo Jazz Festival welcomes the acclaimed Karrin Allyson. And Jazz at Kleinhans continues to build anticipation for a remarkable season featuring Nicole Zuraitis, Champian Fulton, Carmen Bradford, Vanessa Perea, Ann Hampton Callaway, and Alfredo Rodriguez.

Taken together, these events represent more than a calendar of performances. They reflect a growing movement that embraces jazz as a cultural asset, a community builder, and an economic driver for our region.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support, attendance, and passion for jazz make all of this possible.

The summer ahead promises memorable music, inspiring artists, and countless opportunities to gather together in celebration. We look forward to sharing it with you.
