Where Buffalo Gathers for Summer
For many of us, summer arrives with a calendar full of activities. For the jazz community, summer arrives with opportunities to gather.
Over the past year, we have witnessed something truly encouraging. Audiences have filled Kleinhans Music Hall to celebrate the Great American Songbook. The Jazz Lounge at The Statler has become a welcoming gathering place. JazzMondays continues to bring together familiar faces and new friends alike. Throughout Buffalo, people are rediscovering the joy of sharing live music and meaningful experiences together.
What makes this especially meaningful is that it goes beyond the music itself.
Jazz has always been about connection. The Great American Songbook continues to remind us of cherished memories and timeless stories. These experiences help create a sense of community that strengthens our city and enriches our lives.
Now, as we start another summer, we are filled with gratitude and excitement. Gratitude for the artists, supporters, sponsors, venues, volunteers, and audiences who make this community possible. Excitement for what lies ahead. The Summer of Jazz is almost here. And we look forward to gathering with you.
JazzBuffalo: Where Buffalo Gathers for Jazz.
With gratitude,
