Four Exciting and Magical Sundays Await in Summer of Jazz 2026

Music. Culture. Community. Four magical Sundays that continue to transform downtown Buffalo into a place where people gather in the joy of jazz.

From Havana to Italy, New Orleans to the Buffalo Jazz Festival, downtown Buffalo continues its extraordinary summer celebration of music, culture, and community.

There are moments when you realize that something special is taking shape.

What began with the joyful sounds of the Anderson Big Band, continued through the charm of Taste of Paris, and carried on with hundreds gathering throughout the summer has become much more than a concert series. Summer of Jazz has become a place where our community comes together to celebrate music, friendship, culture, and the joy of being downtown.

Now, the journey continues.

Four remarkable Sundays remain, each offering its own unique destination and unforgettable experience on Ellicott Street.

Our summer concludes with JazzBuffalo’s signature celebration—the 5th Annual Buffalo Jazz Festival.

This year’s festival features New York City jazz vocalist Marcus Goldhaber, whose passion for the Great American Songbook has earned national acclaim, and Três Mais featuring special guest Karrin Allyson, the internationally celebrated five-time Grammy Award nominee, blending the rhythms of Brazil with the spirit of American jazz.

The festival will also showcase Vibrant Strings and My Cousin Toné, creating a day that celebrates the remarkable jazz artistry of our jazz community.

More Than Concerts

Every Sunday offers a different destination.

Every Sunday creates a different experience.

Yet each gathering shares the same purpose—to bring people together through the joy of jazz, the timeless songs of the Great American Songbook, and the shared experience of live music in the heart of downtown Buffalo.

That is what Summer of Jazz has become.

It is helping shape downtown into a place where people gather, friendships are renewed, families create memories, and music reminds us of what makes our community so special.

We invite you to join us for the remainder of this magical Summer of Jazz 2026.

Four Sundays. Four magical experiences. One extraordinary summer.

We can’t wait to share the rest of this journey with you.
