Our highly-anticipated collaboration with the TD Toronto Jazz Festival this past weekend marked the 50th and final new concert launch for the first annual ACT4MusicFest, ACT4Music’s online festival featuring specially curated concerts by well-established favorites and vibrant new voices on the international creative music scene.
These last 8 weeks of our festival have been filled with incredible music and inspiring artistry from Chile to the UK, France to Cuba, South Africa to the US — and for a limited time, we’re offering name-your-price tickets for on-demand access to every show in the festival on ACT4Music.org. Enjoy the healing power of music while supporting musicians and composers during an especially challenging season.
Now through June 27, you can purchase tickets for any of the festival’s 50 incredible concerts (totaling 200 performances!) and enjoy on-demand access through July 12. Our impressive roster of performing artists includes Chris Potter, Julian Lage, Jorge Glem, John Patitucci, Vivian Green, Ángel Parra (along with a selection of artists from Festival Jazz Chile), Nduduzo Makhathani, Sarah Thawer, Vijay Iyer, Melissa Aldana, Charles McPherson, and many more. Also included in this offer is an incredible three-part interview series with Jazz Masters, (Thinking About the Past and the Present Moment) by award-winning documentarian Steve Rowland, which features intriguing discussions with living legends such as Kenny Barron, Louis Hayes, George Cables, Maxine Gordon, Odean Pope, Burton Greene, and Oliver Lake.
