Alex McArthur Quartet at Jazz at Chandlerville

Winner in the JazzBuffalo Poll for Female Jazz Vocalist of the Year in 2018, 2021, and 2022, she has led her own jazz & pop groups in Buffalo since 2016.

Alex’s love for storytelling via musical means led her to study musical theatre & music at the University at Buffalo, while studying vocal jazz & improvisation independently, all aiding the creation & control of her rich, soulful sound. Since then, she remains open to the ways in which she can continue to share her love of music & storytelling with musicians & audiences alike of any & all backgrounds.
