5th Annual Buffalo Jazz Festival: Três Mais featuring Special Guest Karrin Allyson

The 2026 Summer of Jazz journey concludes with a joyful musical celebration as Três Mais brings the vibrant sounds of Brazil to the 5th Annual Buffalo Jazz Festival on Sunday, September 6.
Blending the infectious rhythms of Brazilian samba with the spontaneity and artistry of American jazz, Três Mais creates music that is warm, inviting, and impossible to resist. Their performances capture the spirit of Brazil—from lyrical bossa novas to energetic sambas—while embracing the freedom and improvisation that make jazz so compelling.

The ensemble features Brazilian guitarist César Haas, acclaimed Grammy-nominated Brazilian drummer Rafael Barata, award-winning bassist Wayne Moose, acclaimed keyboardist Harry Graser, and premier saxophonist Doug Stone, from Louisiana State University, where he is the head of the LSU Jazz Ensemble. Together, they create a dynamic musical experience that bridges continents and cultures while celebrating the universal language of jazz.

Making this year’s festival even more special is the appearance of five-time GRAMMY®-nominated vocalist Karrin Allyson, one of the most celebrated voices in jazz today. Renowned for her expressive interpretations, captivating stage presence, and remarkable ability to move effortlessly between the Great American Songbook, Brazilian music, and contemporary jazz, Allyson brings an extraordinary level of artistry to this festival finale.
Throughout the summer, we’ve traveled together through the music of Paris, Latin America, Italy, and New Orleans. The Buffalo Jazz Festival brings that musical journey to a joyful close with the rich colors, rhythms, and melodies of Brazil.
Join us as we celebrate community, culture, and the joy of live music at the grand finale of Summer of Jazz—where Buffalo gathers for jazz.
