Carolyn Lansom Quartet – Celebrating a decade of performing

Join Carolyn in celebrating her decade-long jazz career by attending this incredible show at Pausa Art House. The 2 sets have been crafted to contain some of Carolyn’s top pieces from the many groups she has performed with. Carolyn Lansom is a multifaceted vocalist who has been performing for over a decade. She is thrilled to return to the Pausa stage for the first time since 2017. Accompanied by some of Buffalo’s best musicians, tonight’s performance will feature jazz, and pop standards and favorites that showcase her vocal range, style, and ability. She performs with several group, and maintains a position in the critically acclaimed Holy Trinity Lutheran Church choir in Buffalo, in addition to producing her trio Dozo My Lady, which was named the 2023 best jazz and pop group by the JazzBuffalo Reader’s poll.

Her repertoire includes Norah Jones, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, and more songs. Carolyn was last seen at Pausa with the group she co-produced Sugar Katty Cool. The performance will feature Carolyn, Harry Graser (piano), Dave Lansom (bass), and Dalton Sharp (sax).
