Daniel King Band

Daniel King is a flamenco guitarist living in Rochester, NY and Rincon, Puerto Rico. His music combines traditional flamenco guitar technique with Caribbean island rhythms in a new sound that was inspired by years of living on the enchanting island. With a passion for Spanish guitar, he put aside all other musical interests and committed himself to nylon guitar as a way to capture the essence of the Caribbean. Daniel King Band formed in Rochester in 2016 when Daniel moved to the area from Puerto Rico. Backed by a group of stellar musicians, Daniel King Band brings a sound that is enjoyable to all and unique to any program.
