Friday, October 18, 2024 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
$12 – $15
Enjoy the magic of the bewitching season as The Dr. M Jazz Combo presents an entire show of Halloween-themed jazz favorites. Nominated as one of the top jazz shows in Buffalo last year, this is a concert not to be missed! This is a hoppin’ swingin’ night of ghoulish jazz fun! Dr. M assembles Buffalo’s finest for her combo.
The combo for Jazz Be-Witching includes:
Douglas “Trigger” Gaston = piano
Greg Millar = guitar
Marc Cousins = upright bass
Abdul-Rahman Qadir = drums
Andrew Peruzzini = horns
Dr. M = vocals
* Dr. M is the newest of singers on the Buffalo jazz scene. She brings a powerful presentation to unique arrangements of jazz standards, as well as to jazzed-out versions of unexpected tunes. With a dressy style reminiscent of mid-century jazz vocalists, Dr. M often quiets the room with her emotionally evocative delivery. She assembles top WNY musicians to round out The Dr. M Jazz Combo.
