French Conéxion at JazzTuesdays at The Mansion On Delaware

French ConéXion was formed in the summer of 2016 with the intention of creating high-quality music in a jazz format where musicians are able to take a composition and create a unique and new version at every performance. Their repertoire also includes tunes by Erik Satie, Edith Piaf, Egberto Gismonti, Hermeto Pascoal, Sivuca, Astor Piazzolla, Django Reinhardt, and many others. The trio also plays standards from the American jazz repertoire. Including performing their own compositions and improvisations.
French ConéXion has performed at many local venues such as Sportsmen’s Tavern opening for the great jazz manouche guitarist Stéphane Wrembel 11.10.17 and Django Reinhardt’s Birthday 1.23.2019, Pausa Art House, Infinity Performing Arts Center in Jamestown, Joe Bean Coffee Rochester, Rochester City Hall for the Rochester-Rennes (France) Sister City organization, Colored Musicians Club, Buffalo, Northwest Jazz Festival in Lewiston, NY, Elmwood Festival of the Arts, Coco Bar & Bistro, Raclettes Restaurant, Webster’s Bistro, Carnegie Art Center, Nietzsche’s Jazz Fest and many more.
