Hot Club Express returns to The Lounge at Revolution Gallery this Friday, May 7th for a night of live gypsy jazz and world music. Great art, drinks, and music.
The Hot Club Express are two members of The Hot Club of Buffalo; virtuosic lead guitarist Dean Gionis, and super-swinging violinist, E.J. Koeppel. Together they play “Gypsy Swing” which was created in the 1930s by the legendary 2-fingered guitarist, Django Reinhardt. The style blends American big band swing with exotic European Gypsy sounds.
