From Mark Goldman:

Some of you may know Patrick Gallo: Buffalo-born and educated at Lafayette High School. Patrick moved to New York in the mid-1990s when he was just 19 years old to pursue his artistic dreams and launch what has become a highly successful career in musical and dramatic theater., In addition to a range and variety of theater pieces, Patrick has had a celebrated film and TV career, playing Mario Puzo in The Offer, Stu Grossbard in Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Tony Jack in Scorcese’s The Irishman alongside Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino, to name just a few!
Now he has created a solo performance piece called How to Be an Artist in Ten Super Easy Steps! in which he tells his story from his Italian-American upbringing in Buffalo through to his successes (and failures!) in The Big Apple.
To enhance this story, we have added a fantastic jazz element: A beautiful and abstract musical accompaniment written and performed by Sal Andolina, principal saxophone player with the BPO, and by piano prodigy, Luca Gallo.
We mounted this show in June to two smashing sell-out crowds at the Alleyway Theater.  Due to popular demand, we’re presenting it again at the Alleyway, on Friday and Saturday nights, October 11th and 12th at 7:30 pm!
