JazzBuffalo is excited to partner with Seneca One Tower and Douglas Development Corporation for our third year to bring to the Buffalo community Jazz On The Plaz! this summer. Taking place from 5 pm to 8 pm. And, to the delight of many, we’ll be back on Fridays with music from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm!
Location: The weekly series will be held at the West Plaza of Seneca One Tower between Pearl Street and Main Street.
The revitalization of Seneca One Tower has been a remarkable transformation from its days serving as a headquarters center for banking institutions. Now serving as a technology hub for M&T Bank and the 43 North start-up companies, it also offers the availability of apartments with spectacular views.
This latest revitalization by Douglas Development Corporation, now open in its 4th year, affords the opportunity for the community of Buffalo to make use of this grand location. And to experience jazz, entertainment, and the community at one of Buffalo’s most significant assets. We are able to experience a time reminiscent of when people gathered outdoors to hear music in public town squares and plazas.
There will be food trucks available to offer food and beverages. And the trees offer shade for people as they sit on the concrete benches.

This is a free event. There is no cover fee. However, we are relying on free-will donations to help support the JazzBuffalo Keep Jazz Alive Fund which will help support payment to musicians and other costs such as sound and equipment.
