|Recurring Event (See all)
An event every week that begins at 6:30 pm on Monday, repeating until Monday, September 12, 2022
The popular Summer JazzMondays on the rooftop patio of Tappo Restaurant will return for the summer of 2022 for its fifth season! My Cousin Toné returns to perform on the rooftop patio every Monday night!
Voted in the 2021 JazzBuffalo annual poll as favorite Jazz Large Ensemble! Sit back and enjoy dinner and a bottle of wine while My Cousin Toné plays tunes everyone will love from its repertoire of jazz classics, standards, soul, and hard bop songs.
The weekly JazzMondays has become a new tradition during the summer. We love the celebrations that happen and providing the music to make it special. We encourage you to plan ahead for birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, and just getting together with friends after a long year of the pandemic!
The rooftop patio will be open weather permitting.
The Summer JazzMondays will kick off on Memorial Day starting Monday, May 30th – and continue every Monday through Labor Day. My Cousin Toné has been together for more than 10 years and features Jim Matteliano – keyboards, Bill Savino, bass, Andy Peruzzini – trumpet, Dalton Sharp – saxophone, Pete Dauphin – trombone, Bill Basil – drums, Tony Zambito – percussion, and Mary McMahon – vocals. And you never know who might drop by and sit in for a song or two!
The Tappo Rooftop Patio will once again fill the downtown sky with the sounds of jazz to go along with the outstanding menu and drinks of Tappo Restaurant.
