Stephane Wrembel & French ConéXion

Stéphane Wrembel will plays some solo pieces and other pieces with French ConéXion (Dave Phillips, cajon, Marc Cousins, bass, Jeremy Spindler, accordion, Bernard Kunz, guitar).

Stéphane Wrembel, one of the most creative Manouche guitar players, wrote the soundtracks for several Woody Allen movies (Midnight in Paris, Vicky Christina Barcelona etc). All the while deeply respecting Django Reinhardt’s legacy (listen to his recording of Django’s improvisations “Django l’impressionniste”) Stéphane’s compositions and playing are moving jazz manouche forward into new directions.
