The Lindsey Holland Duo performs all your favorite Jazz and Bossa Nova songs, but with modern touches. Holland takes you on a journey in each song, exploring the various melodic landscapes and emotions conveyed by the lyrics. Holland and Tinkham provide whimsical improvisations on the musical themes and underlying messages of each composition, often creating their own arrangements. Although the duo consists of just voice and guitar, you will often find Tinkham thumping basslines, comping like a pianist, and providing percussive effects in the music as well. Influences of the group include Dominique Eade, Becca Stevens, Nancy Wilson, and more.
