Summer of Jazz Presents: A Taste of Paris featuring Hot Club of Buffalo

Experience the Romance and Swing of Paris in the Heart of Downtown Buffalo

Close your eyes and imagine yourself seated at a sidewalk café along the streets of Paris.

The music begins. Guitars dance effortlessly through timeless melodies. The violin soars above the rhythm. Conversations pause as smiles spread throughout the crowd.

For one very special summer afternoon, Summer of Jazz transforms downtown Buffalo into A Taste of Paris.

Featuring the acclaimed Hot Club of Buffalo, this special experience celebrates the irresistible swing of Django Reinhardt and the timeless tradition of gypsy jazz. Blending virtuosity, romance, and joyful rhythms, Hot Club of Buffalo captures the spirit of the cafés that made Paris one of the world’s great jazz destinations.

Whether you’re discovering gypsy jazz for the first time or have loved it for years, you’ll find yourself transported by music that is elegant, spirited, and wonderfully inviting.

Bring your family. Meet friends for dinner before or after the performance. Enjoy a glass of wine, relax outdoors, and let the music carry you across the Atlantic—without ever leaving downtown Buffalo.

Summer of Jazz is more than a concert series. It’s a collection of experiences that celebrate cultures from around the world while bringing our community together through music.

Join us as we gather for an afternoon and early evening inspired by the timeless charm, romance, and swing of Paris.
