Susanna Aleksandra is an Estonian jazz singer, lyricist, and composer. Passionate for languages, she effortlessly plays with words and melodies, navigating through traditional, modern, and Latin Jazz. A natural storyteller, the charismatic singer holds the listener spellbound, making jazz approachable not only for jazz lovers.
Her debut album “Miracles” consisting of her original music was released in 2015. Her second album “Souls of the Night” featuring some of the best Northern European jazz musicians was released in Japan in March 2020 (Blue Gleam) and will be released in Europe in early 2021.
Susanna Aleksandra collaborates with top-class jazz musicians, including the Steinway artist, pianist Joonas Haavisto, the pianist of Chris Botti Holger Marjamaa, Teemu Viinikainen, Jukka Eskola and many others. She has performed with the legendary Igor Butman Quartet and the Russian multi-instrumentalist David Goloshokin and shared the stage with Robert Hurst, Peter Bernstein, Chico Pinheiro, Mitchell Long (guitarist of Melody Gardot) and many more. She is actively performing all around Europe and Russia. Her album release tour in Japan was postponed to March 2021 due to Covid19.
