The Buffalo Bone-tet is a newly formed group comprised of some of the Western New York area’s finest trombone players. All three horn players, John Hasselback Jr., Brendan Lanighan, and Richard LaRouech have years of experience playing all around the country with years of experience in the New York City jazz scene as well as being well known in the Buffalo jazz community.
This will be the debut performance of the three-trombone group; they will pay tribute to some of the icons of the jazz trombone, playing compositions and arrangements by JJ Johnson, Curtis Fuller, and Slide Hampton.
Joining them in the rhythm section will be Lisa Hasselback on piano, Paul LaDuca on bass, and John Bacon Jr. on drums.
