The Buffalo Dolls Jingle Bell Jazz

These “Retro-Songbirds” have performed regionally at venues such as Canalside and the Buffalo Naval Park for festival and military events such as the National Convention for The American Legion Auxiliary National Headquarters and the commissioning of the USS Little Rock LCS 9, Kleinhans Music Hall, The Tralf, Hotel Henry, Buffalo History Museum, Buffalo Central Terminal, and many more.
They have been featured on the cover of Forever Young and Buffalo Spree magazines for their work in the community as Musician Medics at the VA Hospital for The Buffalo Music Hall of Fame and their travels with Buffalo Niagara Honor Flight accompanying WWII, Korean and Vietnam Veterans to Washington, DC to honor their service for our country.
The Buffalo Dolls have been nominated for Best Vocal Group for Artvoice, Buffalo Spree, and Buffalo Night Life Music Awards.
In 2018 with Ladies First Jazz Band they were the recipient of the JazzBuffalo Music Award for Jazz Performance of the Year for their Holiday Show, “A Jazzy Christmas,” and Best Vocal Pop Jazz Group.
Ladies First Jazz Band led by Jennifer May and Jennie Jones is a 16pc. all-female group that started in 1994 with a celebration of Women’s History Month with their show, “An All-Female Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald”. The band has been performing and celebrating ever since with a new production each year paying tribute to female Jazz artists ever since.
