The Jacob Jay/Dalton Sharp Quintet enjoys performing a collection of original compositions and arrangements of jazz standards around the Western New York area. Past performances include the Colored Musicians Club Jazz Festival, the Lewiston Jazz Festival, the Nietzsche’s Jazz Festival, the Buffalo Infringement Festival, Babeville’s 9th Ward and at Pausa Art House. Inspired by ensembles such as the great Miles Davis Quintets they strive to approach every tune with a unique interpretation.
Tonight the Jacob Jay/Dalton Sharp Quintet will be joined by Shaun Doyle the 2016 Jazz Buffalo Poll best male vocalist singing original arrangements of songs from the Great American Songbook as well as your holiday favorites.
