Ubudis Trio: Tamez, Golove, Bacon

Ubudis Trio was born almost 15 years ago when Jonathan Golove and Omar Tamez meets in Mexico City. After that moment both of them start making concerts and projects adding from Mexico Milo Tamez and from Buffalo John Bacon and Steve Baszkowski.

Through the years the group is doing a unique repertoire of originals compositions and very selective profile of Jazz masters including Jimmy Giuffre, Steve Lacy, Thelonious Monk, Charles Mingus and Mal Waldron to name a few.

In this concert, Ubudis Trio will be Jonathan Golove on electric cello, John Bacon on drums and percussion and Omar Tamez on guitar and several ethnic instruments from all over the world with the addition of a special guest. The repertoire will be a mix of their original compositions (Golove, Bacon & Tamez) plus some of the most unique compositions from the Jazz Masters.
