If the name Guaraldi doesn’t instantly ring a bell, you’ve surely heard the holiday standard “Christmas Time is Here” and his signature melody “Linus and Lucy” for the TV adaptations of the Peanuts comic strip.

Imagine this performed by Buffalo-based legend, George Caldwell. His experience spans the Count Basie and Duke Ellington Orchestra and he presided over the ivory 88s for the Basic Orchestra when the group won a “Best Large Jazz Ensemble Performance” Grammy in 1996.
