Vincent Herring Quartet: Celebrating Charlie Parker’s Centennial

Livestream from the Vermont Jazz Center Vincent Herring, one of the most highly regarded alto saxophonists in today’s jazz scene,performs with his working quartet in a tribute to jazz legend Charlie Parker. The concert will be live streamed on the VJC’s website and Facebook page. The VJC is not taking reservations for this event – it will be performed live to a virtual audience. Herring will be supported by the same musicians with whom he recorded his most recent album, Bird at 100: Dave Kikoski, piano; Yasushi Nakamura, bass; Carl Allen, drums. The 70 minute concert will be followed by a short break and then a round-table discussion with the quartet. Livestreaming for this event is cost-free and open to the public.
