JazzBuffalo and Kleinhans Music Hall are proud to announce the Jazz at Kleinhans 2026–2027 season—an exceptional lineup of internationally acclaimed artists that continues to position Buffalo as a premier destination for jazz and the Great American Songbook while elevating the program at Kleinhans Music Hall.
The season opens with six-time Grammy nominee and two-time Grammy Award winner Nicole Zuraitis and her quintet on Sunday, November 8, 2026, bringing her dynamic artistry and fresh voice in jazz to Kleinhans Music Hall. Zuraitis won the 2024 Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album for her album How Love Begins.

The holiday season returns in swinging style with Swinging in the Holidays on Sunday, December 6, 2026, led by the Champian Fulton Trio and featuring Grammy Award winner Carmen Bradford (of the Count Basie Orchestra fame) alongside acclaimed jazz vocalist Vanessa Perea—an annual tradition that continues to grow in warmth and celebration.

The beloved Harold Arlen Celebration returns on Sunday, February 7, 2027, featuring Tony Award nominee Ann Hampton Callaway, honoring Buffalo’s deep connection to one of the Great American Songbook’s most treasured composers. Callaway is one of America’s most gifted and prolific artists. A leading champion of the great American Songbook, she’s made her mark as a singer, pianist, composer, lyricist, arranger, actress, educator, TV host, and producer. Voted by Broadwayworld.com as “Performer of the Year” and “Best Jazz Vocalist.” She is best known for her Tony-nominated performance in the hit Broadway musical “Swing!” and for writing and singing the theme song to the hit TV series “The Nanny.” Callaway is an inductee of The Women Songwriters Hall of Fame and a Platinum-selling writer whose songs are featured on 7 of Barbra Streisand’s albums.

Latin Grammy Award winner Alfredo Rodríguez and his trio arrive on Sunday, March 14, 2027, delivering a vibrant, globally infused jazz experience. Rodriguez is known for his virtuoso technique, blending classical training with Afro-Cuban roots. Discovered by Quincy Jones at the 2006 Montreux Jazz Festival, he defected from Cuba to the U.S. in 2009 to pursue a global career, frequently blending jazz with pop and traditional Cuban music.

The season culminates in a landmark event—Branford Marsalis and Dianne Reeves Celebrate the Ballads of John Coltrane on Thursday, April 22, 2027—a rare and highly anticipated collaboration between two of the most revered artists in jazz today.

Together, this season represents an extraordinary continuation of Jazz at Kleinhans—bringing world-renowned artistry to the iconic Kleinhans Music Hall and further establishing the program as a nationally recognized destination for jazz at the highest level, while reinforcing Buffalo’s identity as a Great American Songbook city.
